Delicatessa in Freiburg im Breisgau

Bella Italia in the middle of Freiburg. Just to feel good! Warm, genuine, not for sale. The lunch menu is better than in most Italian restaurants, the opposite of convenience food. Plus top wines, sugos, oil and pasta. And the best gnocchi of all!

The unfriendliness of the owner of this shop cannot be beat. As a guest you are treated from above and sometimes insulted. Your mood only improves when you are at the cash register. I have had this experience several times now. The food is good average. I can therefore unfortunately not recommend "Delicatessa"!

The food was okay, but we expected more. The tomato sauce was pretty watery and the ravioli with olive oil still floated in the drained water. Most unpleasant was the unfriendly service behind the counter (probably the boss) Therefore only 2 stars.

The applied friendliness at the beginning of my visits was really unappealing to me. But I wanted to know more about it and came back a few times. The food was ok, not particularly, but at least a little above the average of most Italians, is also close as they try their hand at a deli. The really strongly day-dependent politeness, and striking personal calmness is unbearable. Children are definitely not welcome, which is not understandable given the ambience. Toilets only accessible to friends, which is very variable and also depends on the shape of the day. The portion size shrinks from year to year. I would definitely not go there anymore and I have heard this opinion more and more often in my well-known circle.

Unfortunately, the price / performance ratio is not right. 7 to 8 euros for a child's portion Noodles with tomato sauce does not have to be. In addition, there is no friendly service. It is more like sitting in a small canteen.

Actually, I just wanted to eat a snack. Now, due to my speech disorder, I did not get a good morning out fast enough. As a result, the "boss" meant he would not serve me because I did not greet. I've never experienced anything like that.
